After growing up in Baltimore, and graduating from The University of Maryland, I found myself on an adventure that took me south to the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. There, I studied art direction and design for advertising.

Upon graduation, I ventured even further south and west to Dallas, where I’ve spent most of my career at The Richards Group, now known as TRG, surrounded by the smartest, most focused, and hard-working individuals in the world of advertising.

Along the way, I’ve served as an art director, creative director, and designer, while gaining a deep understanding of what makes successful brand advertising work. From strategy to presentation, ideation to execution, I’ve worked with clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small local businesses. I’ve also spent a few years in Los Angeles, where I did more of the same, only in a considerably cooler, more beachy climate.

Over the years, I’ve mentored students from Portfolio Center, Creative Circus, and Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter, because, in addition to what I do for a living, I enjoy sharing what I know about my craft with others.

When I’m not at work, I’m fortunate enough to spend the time with my multi-talented wife, who is an art teacher and interior designer, two amazing daughters, one high-energy rescue schnoodle, and one chill rescue shchniddle ??? pup.
